To Whom it May Concern:

I highly recommend Rebecca as a candidate for OR-ID Emerging Brands position.  Becky has served as our Greenhouse Brand Ambassador for Slane & Scotches in Massachusetts since January 2019.  In that time she has worked closely with the B-F team and our distributor Horizon Beverage to enhance and grow sales and awareness for Slane and our Scotch portfolio.

From day one Becky has taken a ‘boots on the ground’ approach to building brand awareness for Slane & Scotches.  She quickly established herself as the go-to spokesperson for these brands.  She is a gifted storyteller who effortlessly connects our brand information with Irish & Scottish folklore.  She has a knack for connecting with people from all walks of life.

In March 2020 when the pandemic brought the economy to a halt, Becky adeptly re-invented ways to go to market with our brands.  She identified and reached out to local whisky clubs to conduct virtual tasting events, partnering with local retailers to encourage sales.  She also developed a social media presence for herself, promoting our brands on a weekly basis.

Becky has excellent communication skills. In addition, she is extremely organized, reliable, and computer literate. Becky works well independently and in a team atmosphere.  She has great follow through when assigned projects by her B-F or Greenhouse management team. Becky is quick to volunteer to assist in other areas outside of her territory when requested.

Becky would be a tremendous asset within the Emerging Brands organization and in many ways she is already considered a member of the EB team. If you have any further questions regarding her background or qualifications, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Steve Foohey

Recommendation Letters

Jordan Campbell-Cheeks - Assistant Brand Manager Chambord & Fords Gin

To Whom It May Concern:

Hello, I am Jordan Campbell, Associate brand manager for Chambord and Fords Gin and it is my pleasure to recommend Rebecca Gardiner for the Emerging Brands Market Manager in Portland. During my time within the Emerging brands team, I have been able to work with Rebecca in a multitude of occasions, even with us working in different markets and regions. Rebecca continues to go above and beyond representing our brands every day.

During our time together, Rebecca has displayed great talents in account interaction, creativity, sales leadership, and brand advocacy. When we first met, I was immediately impressed with Rebecca but during the time we worked together, her understanding of marketing and selling our Scotch and Slane portfolio grew far more than that of her peers.

Even though she is only responsible for the Mid-Atlantic region, she expands her reach by working with the emerging brands team nationally. Her creativity and ingenuity is unmatched and you can see that in all the work she does. One of the many examples I personally have shown how Becky thinks BF first. Becky was able to provide us a full cocktail strategy for Chambord and Skrewball Whiskey to further expand our partnership to a national scale. It’s not just her technical skills that impress me, however. Becky was a joy to work with because of her amazingly positive attitude and way that she stepped out of her job responsibilities for the greater good of the Emerging Brands portfolio.

I am absolutely confident that Becky would be a great fit for our team. Not only will she bring the kind of skills and experiences you’re looking for in an applicant, but she will also quickly become an asset and help your Brown Forman grow in any way she can.

If you need more information or specific examples, please do not hesitate to contact me at my email, Jordan_Campbell@b-f.com. As a recommendation letter likely only provides a snapshot of her talents and achievements, I would be happy to further elaborate on my time working with her.

Sincerely,

Jordan Campbell-Cheeks

Recommendation Letters

Shannon Guilmet - Horizon Distributor Regional Account Manager, Maine.

Dear Hiring Team,

I am a Regional Account Manager with Horizon Beverage in Maine. I am writing you to  recommend Rebecca Gardiner. I have been professionally acquainted with Becky for nearly a year now.  In that time, I have come to know Becky as an enthusiastic and brilliant team player who is always  moving forward. In addition to successfully using standard market practices to drive sales, Becky also identifies, conceptualizes, and executes innovative ways to grow both mindshare and case sales.

I first crossed paths with Becky when she reached out to the Maine Bourbon Group, of which I  am a part of, ahead of her relocation to Portland. Within days, Becky had identified key decision makers  within the city and made invaluable connections with them. Certainly, some of this was a result of her  naturally infections personality. However, making those connections was also an example of Becky’s  deliberate efforts to identify top buyers and sales teams around her and to find genuine ways to  ingratiate her brands into their respective business decisions.

As the year has progressed, I have had the pleasure of working alongside Becky with increasing  frequency. Becky has taken the initiative time and again to identify how she can best affect the market  around her. She has learned the intricacies of Maine’s control state system. She remains in regular contact with me to stay abreast of both BF and competitor inventory concerns, new state listings,  allocation schedules, etc.

Becky remains active in whiskey and craft spirit conversations across both On and Off Premise  locations to drive sales through sharing her exceptional passion for and knowledge of the Brown Forman  Scotch and Irish brands. While her focus has primarily been on Slane, BenRiach, Glendronach and  Glenglassaugh; I know that I can always rely on Becky to speak to any of Brown Forman’s products with  similar expertise and excitement. She is truly passionate about the entire portfolio.

As a broker, I have found Becky to be a dream Supplier to work with. She is timely in her  responses and proactive about trade and retail events. Becky takes a collaborative approach that allows  us to maximize our impact with utmost efficiency. In less than a year, Maine is already enjoying  increased sales, in no small part, due to Becky’s work in the market.

Based on my experience with Becky, I am happy to recommend her to you without reservation.  If you care for any further elaboration, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Shannon Guilmet
